Monday Encouragement: Isaiah 41:10
Written by H, Posted in Christian Living, Encouragement
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Isaiah 41:10 is a great example of the encouragement found within the book of Isaiah. The book of Isaiah is filled with so many countless encouraging verses, which all reflect on the power and love and providence of our Lord God.
In verse 10, there are several layers and parts that stand out to me, and that provide reassurance, hope, strength, and peace:
“Fear not, for I am with you”: God is always with us. He is with you, day and night, no matter what you’re going through. That’s a promise! I love in the first part of verse 10 how we are commanded to “Fear not,” because God is with us. What a promise! What an encouragement! We have no reason to fear, because God is with us.
“Be not dismayed, for I am your God”: Dismay is another word for distress, usually instigated by something unexpected. In Isaiah 41:10, we are encouraged to be not dismayed. Why? “for I am your God”. We serve the Living Christ, Who conquered death for us, so there is no reason to be dismayed. This is something I need to constantly remind myself of, especially when life throws curve balls my way.
“I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you”: God promises to provide us with strength, and with help. When you’re feeling like you can’t go on or you just don’t know how you’re going to get through the day, God will be right with you to provide you with the strength and help you need, to get through whatever you’re facing.
“I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”: God promises to uphold us. More than that, He promises to uphold us with His righteous right hand. That means, when you lose your footing, He’s going to be there to hold you up, if you’ll trust in Him. What I love about this verse, is that we are told God will uphold us with His righteous right hand. Righteous: Pure, virtuous, upstanding, ethical, honest. Regardless of your circumstances, God is righteous. And He will uphold you with His right hand. His right hand! Throughout scripture, God’s right hand is mentioned several times. Historically, to be put on someone’s right hand is to be held in equal honour. God’s right hand also symbolizes His power and His greatness.
Whatever you’re facing this week, remember Isaiah 41:10 and claim it for yourself!

Life can be so difficult sometimes. My faith is weak. I need to feel God’s promises. Anxiety and fear are crushing me. I feel like I’m losing my mind. My son has been raped and has had many other traumas. He has turned to drugs for comforting as many have done and I can’t bare to see what he is going through. I have no control and cannot help him. I’ve been begging God for help and wisdom. I don’t know how much more I can take. The seas are crashing around the boat. I am going to drown. Lord please calm the seas.
Brian,
I looked here for help for my own teenage son. I will add you and yours to my daily prayers. I have been praying for peace and feel so blessed myself but it’s so hard not to be able to help a child. God bless you.
Praying for you.
Good morning Brian. My name is Lisa. I just couldn’t sleep and I got out of my bed to rad a scripture which I found on a piece a paper I came across while clearing out a box of papers. The scripture is Isaiah 41:10, with our Heavenly Father telling us’ “FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU”, and that He is. Brian I know that this is a very difficult battle for you because it’s your child. As many parents feel when something happens to our children, “take the pain from them and give it to me”. However, you must believe that your son will get through this. Because this is something that you cannot undo, ask our Heavenly Father to let this be you son’s testimony as God brings him through this ordeal. I pray that you and your son are in a better place now because this was back in January of 2020, and as we continue on in life, we begin to experience healing for both us and our children. I am going to pray for the both of you. God Bless you both.
No, you will not drown. Because you’ve called out his name, he will help you. READ PSALMS 91.Prayer for protectin.
Amen
Praying for you
May the Lord help those who are who through situation that they can not handle.
Father God please help to save the life of this child, please give his parents the hope that they need from you and grant him his healing in Jesus mighty name 🙏🙏🙏
This verse is powerful, I’ll trust unto the lord God all the days of my life.🙌
When I read the previous comments I am ashamed at my pity party, thank you , Jesus for your strength and kindness. My downs don’t see so important when I realized who my Father is
God is good and His Mercy endures forever. Amen.
God has brought me through so many death dealings sickness that I know He is with me always. There are times that I wonder, at the age of 86 years old, why He would love me so when I have not lived the life that promotes His word by the book. I love the Lord and He is my savior. Thank you Father of life.
This is one of my anchors scriptures, it is very reassuring and am leaning on it. I am expectant that the God we serve will watch over His word and bring it to pass. He cannot lie to us.
This morning I have been reflecting on His goodness and His blessings for the past 53 years, career, business, marriage, christian walk, travels, relationships etc and GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD BELOVED. He has done it before and He will do it again. Lets keep trusting for He is relaible.
Stay blessed and be a blessing. May He bless you ALWAYS AND IN ALL WAYS.
I struggle with anxiety also. I when I am aware of it coming I start praying but it continues to wash over me, wave after wave. How do I manage? These verses help to settle me down when I finally sit down. But how do I get a handle on it at first?
Isaiah 41: 10
This verse has strengthen my life as well as my spirit. My situation is just critical and. Difficult , but despite critical I know God is with me and He will help me .
I will not get despair … In Jesus name
Amen
Isaiah 40:10 is so great for me. It lets me know God is in the struggle with me and I am never alone. I will get through whatever rough waters I am going through. God will give me the courage and strength I need. I need to just obey his word and belief his promises for God said he would never leave or forsake me. I trust in God’s promises.
This is a right on time scripture for the time that we are now living in. Times of uncertainty and pure hell on earth and chaos like we have never seen. Yet, we can find so much strength and encouragement in Isaiah 41:10. How wonderful that The Heavenly Father will take time to minister peace, love and encouragement in time of need.
I was really getting into depression because of the many financial problems l have. But this scripture has really helped me. I run with it and l stand on it. I have faith God will come through for me, pay all my debts and get me a great Business or job to do. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY. Amen
I’ve lost my daughter to cancer a year ago and having anxiety attacks can’t sleep I know she’s with God
Please pray for me
GOD has allowed me to see parts of my future. I am excited but I realized I am trying-out the door leaving GOD behind! Sometimes I feel that we make it hard for God in our happy-big rooms that he has to find a seat at the back of the tinny car when we are down because that is the only room we allow him to sit on. But he said “Fear not!” I am praying for the comments, I am greatful for this devotion. It’s God’s voice.
Isaiah 41:10 is just what I needed today. I feel so worried about what my son is going through and I feel helpless. This verse gives me hope. Only God can truly help. God is powerful and nothing is impossible with Him. I praise you my Lord, my living God. I now claim that my son is healed, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Indeed I shall not fear because my God is with me and he keep me by his right hand, thank you for this encouging words, exactly what I needed
Isaiah 41:10 is my favorite Scripture because the Lord is telling me not to be fearful; not to be dismayed. That HE will be my strength;my help. Above all He will hold me up with HIS righteous right hand. This Scripture reduces my stress while increasing my faith. How blessed we all are for GODS’ wonderful words of hope. Thank you for your beautiful explanation of Isaiah 41:10. It was truly what I needed tonight. May GOD bless Hope Reflected with HIS GRACE.
Its comforting to know there are yet believers willing to share trust and acknowledge God. Evil on this earth is great but God is greater! Love u all
Thank you Lord. Powerful and very much needed to hear. Yes I believe in you Lord and I need you.
I feel like I’m alone.Im 39 without friends family or child. The doctor said that I could never have children unless I do the IVF which I can’t afford .Thank you God for this message I’m going to keep pushing on.I felt like giving up .I’m keep trying trusting and believing.
Thanks for the encouragement, I have been in the hospital with my dad for about 2 and a half months. I trust God the father that everything will work accordingly. Thanks am blessed.
I am so moved by each of your comments. I am taking the time this morning to pray for each one of you. Ask Jesus to send the Holy Spirit of God to each one of you.
If you are down to your last dollar and you see someone in more need than you, then give that dollar to them. The old widow gave her last two pennies which was all she had to live on and the Creator of the Universe stopped and called His disciples over and pointed it out to them. God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit notices the shape you are in; He is waiting to Bless your Faith.
Do not fear
As the LORD tell us do not fear, it the opposite of courage. The Bible tells us in 2Tim 1:7 said “For God did not give the spirit of fear, but power, love, and sound mind. The word “fear” was repeated in the Bible 365 times and more. fear not I am with you says the LORD In 31: 6 of Deuteronomy says “Be strong and take courage, do not fear and be dismayed, for the LORD will go before you, and his light will show the way” Praise the LORD!
Thank you for this verse. Even thou it was originally written in 2016, it provided strength and comfort today. My son is currently in prison. He asked for a prayer of protection against the gang violence and influence trying to dominate the facility. Isaiah 41.10 provides the answer.
-Fear NOT – why?- I’m WITH YOU!
-Be NOT dismayed – why? Because I AM your God! – I conquered death!
-I will strengthen you – YES, I WILL help YOU – You shall prevail
-I will uphold YOU – How? With my powerful Right Hand
We claim this word of protection!!!
Powerful message, I will continue claiming it all days of my life
This verse really encourages me to put my trust in the Lord. He is the only one who can help me through my problems. He is the most high King and the Lord of Lords.
Lord I feel weak and stuck. I put all my hope in you to make a way for me. Your promises keep me going. Please God, come to my aid and fill my life with your light. Amen
Praise the Lord !We live in hard times. The only way is the lords way.Welove you Jesus. Please watch over our family keep them safe.
This verse came to me when I was seeking God in prayer. I believe and Trust that I will see a breakthrough in my circumstances.
In the midst of all that we’re going through, Jesus made us a promise. God is not like man; He always keeps his promises. He says in Mark 28:20 Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
No matter what we are experiencing/facing, because God is with us; there is nothing that God cannot handle. Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
God, please lead us on this journey, keep your Angels Wings around us and give me clarity in all the decisions I need to make up to Sunday. If we walk through danger, let the virus fly right past us. I believe like a child. Keep me in Your peace, let all anxious thoughts be replaced by action, step by step. Amen
My adult daughter has extreme anxiety. Hasn’t been able to work much or succeed in life. She walked away from the Lord and is holding on to unbelief. She struggle s with suicidal thoughts. I pray God that you will deliver her and everyone else who has commented here. Hang onto 41:10. God is real. His desire is that no one should perish. Lord rescue the weak deceived, deliver the captives for your name sake!!!!
Thanks for sharing
This one of my favorite scriptures, I say it aloud very often and it helps we get through everything.
Good morning Debby, below has been my strength:
You are right life can throw you some curve balls. Reading Isaiah 41: 10, reminds me that i am not along when storms come into my life. How bless we are to have God, who loves us and strengthen us when can’t do it for ourselves.
Glory to God for this insights.😇🙏☝️Pls. Don’t be tired of sharing His living words.🙌
I claim it Lord thank you for this verse I’m so delighted I trust you Lord with all my heart & soul I know you will never give us trials that we couldn’t handle pls give us strength amen
This is a very powerful message to all of us. I pray that we continue to hold on to this verse as we all continue our journey in life, whatever circumstances we are facing. Let us all keep moving forward, carrying faith and believing that God is always with us.
Thank you so such encouragement. I woke up with a fearful dream and God has reminded me that I must no fear. Thank you Lord
